手工篩選葡萄，去梗、破碎並進行輕柔壓榨。Mavrotragano 部分採用「放血法」（saignée method），在釀造紅葡萄酒的初期階段將部分液體放出，以增加複雜性、酒體和顏色。在不鏽鋼罐中控制溫度發酵，並與酒腳浸泡3個月。

呈現鮮豔的石榴紅色，帶有多汁草莓和奶油糖的香氣，伴隨紫羅蘭的香調。酒體和餘味適中。
